Embrace New Fitness Challenges This January
We were delighted to see so many of you embrace new challenges last week. At Vintage Fitness, we've found that the key to success in fitness is taking small, manageable steps. With consistency, these small steps lead to significant gains over time.
Last week, we challenged you to perform a minimum of 10 sit-to-stands from a chair every day. Many of you got a friend or family member involved to keep each other accountable. Remember to let your Vintage trainer know how you’re doing or if you need extra motivation!
This Week’s Challenge: Counter Pushups
Starting Monday, we introduce the counter pushup. Our inspiring 88-year-old client, Al, demonstrates this exercise in our new video to show that no matter your age, you can do it too! If you find the counter pushup too challenging, start with wall pushups. The closer your feet are to the wall, the easier it will be. Aim for a level that provides a reasonable challenge to complete 10 repetitions.
