Work your core without getting on the floor
A common question that many Vintage Fitness personal training clients have is what exercises they can do to work their core muscles without having to get down on the floor.
Here are three seated core exercises for you:
Seated Ball Push
Sit tall with a soft ball on your lap, push firmly on the ball
Seated Back Extensions
Place a ball at your mid back and push into the ball using your back muscles
Seated Ab Pull
Seated Ab Pull
- Use a thera-band door jam with a band looped around it
- Hold either end of the exercise band keeping your arms bent
- Lean forward with a flat back using your abdominal muscles
