Best 2 exercises to do after your walk
As spring weather arrives there is no better feeling than to get outside for a walk. These outside walks strengthen our hearts, boost our brain function and improved our balance and stability. When you come home from your walk try these two exercises will loosen your back and well as strengthen your abdominals.
Seated abdominal work (as shown by Vintage Fitness trainer, Lorne Opler)
- Sit at the edge of a chair
- Keep your feet on the floor and your back straight
- Tip back slightly until you feel your abdominal muscles working
- Do the exercise 8-10 times
Seated chest stretch
- Sit at the edge of your chair
- Grasp the sides of the chair with straight arms and bring your chest forward
- Hold for 30 seconds
